About 5 years after graduation:


1. Be proficient in engineering design, construction organization management, process development and technical services, as well as environmental planning and management, environmental assessment and other aspects of environmental pollution control and resource utilization.


2. Be able to comprehensively use theoretical knowledge, professional skills and modern technical means to analyze, summarize and solve complex engineering problems in work practice.


3. Be able to abide by engineering professional ethics and norms and consider environmental protection and governance issues from a broad system perspective such as law, ethics, supervision, society, ecology and economy.


4. Be able to effectively communicate with the working team, industry peers and the public in the context of globalization, continue to learn independently and adapt to the development of social economy and industry.


Specialty characteristics: With the specialty of chemical environmental protection, students are required to master the basic theory and knowledge of environmental engineering, focusing on the pollution control technology in the chemical production process.


Teaching staff: There are 20 full-time teachers in this major (including 2 experimental teachers), and the total number can meet the teaching needs. Professional teachers have doctorates, including 5 professors, 7 associate professors, 6 lecturers and 2 experimenters. More than 80% of the teachers have more than 6 months of engineering practice experience, and 13 have more than one year of overseas study or work experience.


Teaching conditions: This major is rich in experimental teaching resources, including environmental monitoring laboratory, environmental engineering microbiology laboratory, environmental engineering comprehensive laboratory, chemical engineering principle laboratory, simulation and simulation laboratory, basic chemistry teaching laboratory and college students' innovation laboratory, etc. the laboratory and equipment meet the teaching needs.
